At Beechwood Care we are doing everything we can to keep up to date with government guidance in relation to the current Covid-19 pandemic. Our utmost priority is to ensure our clients are safe, happy and cared for. We are also taking the health and safety of our staff very seriously during these times.
We closed our doors to all non-essential business on 11th March 2020, and have since increased these measures by limiting non-essential staff hours within each of our care homes.
Across the company, where residents are safe and happy to stay in their bedrooms, we are encouraging them to do so, but they are not isolated nor restricted in their movements at the moment. We have removed some seating from the common areas to try to observe social distancing where we can.
We have rigorous infection control procedures at all times, these are not limited to, or specific to Coronavirus, and our staff are trained in how to deal with any infection outbreak. In addition to this, we are following all relevant government guidance in relation to this virus.
We understand that this is a very worrying time for everyone, especially if you have a loved one in a Care Home, so we would encourage you to contact our Care Managers or our Head Office if you have any further queries in relation to this pandemic.
